70cm 7W Amplifier +38.5dBm

The UHF 70cm 7 Watt RF Amplifier uses the Mitsubishi RA07H4047M module, and is suitable for many projects including homebrew Transceivers, Transverters, or APRS. The Kit is suitable for both linear SSB, AM and non linear FM modes, and includes an integrated 5th order Chebychev low pass filter on the board. For SSB use the module will produce around 3 Watts linear.

Please Note: For most applications using FM, You will require a Heat sink with rating of at least 2.5 degrees C per watt. With short APRS transmissions a smaller heat sink can be used, with a realistic output of up to 5 Watts without overheating.

The Product image shows a fully constructed RA08 Rev2.0 Module board without the optional Mitsubishi module. Please refer to the Options Tab for the descriptions of the various products available.

RA07H4047M KIT is a Basic Kit that includes the PC board, Instructions, and all on board components. Requires complete construction and soldering of SMD components.

RA07H4047M-B is a fully constructed untested Module board. Not always available depends on workload.

RA07H4047M PCB Only includes the PC board and Kit construction notes.

Modules Option: These are the available modules that suit this Kit. Please select the type when ordering the Kit.

Kits and Module boards Do Not include the RF module, heat-sink, connectors or miscellaneous hardware. If you want to use this Kit with the RA07N4452M, then you will have to modify the Low Pass Filter to suit.
