The 5800MHz frequency multiplier has been specifically designed as a local oscillator multiplier for 5760MHz Transverters, RX converters, or as a multiplier for ATV. A pipe-cap cavity filter is used to effectively filter out harmonics and oscillator noise allowing Transverter I/F frequencies down to 144MHz to be used. The 3/4" pipe-cap supplied has a tune-able frequency range of approximately 4 to 7.5GHz. Please refer to the Application Block Diagram on how this Kit is used.

EME5.8G-MLT-R3 KIT Multiplier Kit is a Basic Kit that includes the PC board, Instructions, and all on board components. Requires complete construction and soldering of SMD components.
For use with a Transverter, it is highly recommended that both the EME5.8G-MLT KIT and EME5.8G-AMP KIT1 are purchased to provide the required filtering of the Local Oscillator signal. For basic receive only, you could use the EME5.8G-MLT KIT followed by a Gali-39 Amplifier.
