The EME250 50Ω variable RF Attenuator uses a BAPQ64 Quad PIN Diode which has high linearity and is suitable for 0.5 to 1000MHz Attenuator applications. The tested EME250 PCB design has a flat variable  attenuation from –3dB to –40dB from 500kHz to 1GHz, and higher attenuation to –60dB below 30MHz.
