23cm 4W Amplifier +36dBm

The UHF 23cm 4 Watt RF Amplifier uses the NXP AFT05MS004NT1 LDMOS, and is suitable for many projects including homebrew Transceivers, Transverters, or APRS. The Kit is suitable for both linear SSB, AM and non linear FM modes, and includes an integrated low pass filter on the board. For SSB use the module will produce around 4 Watts linear. A Gali-84 amplifier will drive this amplifier to around +34.5dBm output.

Please Note: For most applications using FM, You will require a Heat sink and fan for cooling. With short APRS transmissions a smaller heat sink can be used, with a realistic output of up to 1 Watt without overheating.

The Product image shows a fully constructed Module board without the optional heat-sink or fan. Please refer to the Options Tab for the descriptions of the various products available.

EME214-23 KIT is a Basic Kit that includes the PC board, Instructions, and all on board components. Requires complete construction and soldering of SMD components.

EME214-23-B is a fully constructed untested Module board. Not always available depends on workload.

Kits Do Not include the heat-sink, fan, connectors or miscellaneous hardware.
